Title: Creamed Pasta W/fresh Basil

8ozThin, flat pasta; cooked al
1 Cl Garlic
15 Fresh basil
1cHalf & half or light cream
2tsUnsalted butter
  Fresh ground pepper; to tast
1 1/3cGruyere cheese; grated

Recipe by: La Madeleine Bakery & Cafe, San Antonio, TX *If fresh basil is difficult to obtain, substitute another fresh herb or use pesto. Mince together garlic and basil with scissors or chop on a board. Using the still hot saucepan the pasta cooked in, pour in half & half, butter, basil-garlic mixture, salt, pepper and pasta.
